It was in the most picturesque location you could imagine. On a ranch, with rolling hills in the background, oak trees dotting the landscape, twinkling lights in the trees, fabulous food, good friends, an all around perfect night.

A Very Happy Mother’s Day
For Mother’s Day this year, we decided to take a ride on the LandShark-something none of us had done before. It is a bus that also goes into the water and becomes a boat!
It was a perfect day, not too hot, not too cold. With the beach front bustling with people enjoying the Sunday art walk.
The tour took us by some neat spots around town and the guide told us some history facts. This tree was planted in 1876, is over 80 feet tall, and the widest spread of the branches is 198 feet.

Day Trip to Paradise Road
The whole family headed to the mountains for a yummy picnic and to let the dogs swim.

Aspidoscelis tigris, The Whiptail lizard! I finally got a picture of one! These guys are so fast and are always on the move, they don’t tend to sit in one spot for long.
