Up to SLO We Go!

Yesterday we headed to San Luis Obispo to visit Robby. He had designed a new layout for all the club’s work cages in the big engineering hanger at school. His design improved the flow, functionality, safety, overall community feel, and work environment of the hanger.

A few weeks ago the big wigs in charge saw his designs and gave him the go ahead to completely remodel the inside of the building and the whole project was finished ahead of schedule last week. He and his techs were in charge of ordering new fencing, clearing out the hanger, removing all the old fencing, cutting new poles, welding everything together, adding gates, and then putting everything back in. Robby gave us the grand tour and it looked amazing!

All in a Day’s Work

I have been working with my Dad installing Dogwatch Hidden Fences and training dogs to the system so they cannot leave their property. It is a lot of hard work and fun-here are some recent pics of our adventures!

Casey even joined us one day to do an entire installation in Santa Ynez

Happy 24th Birthday Casey!

Today we rode our mountain bikes up the infamous Farren Road in Goleta. The weather was perfect and when we got to the top of the hill, we had a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. What a great day 🙂 Over the duration of a few days, we had tons of great food with family-mac n cheese, waffles, burgers, bbq ribs, steak, lasagna, and of course brownies! We love you Casey, happy birthday!

This is the view from Farren at dusk, looking out over rolling hills to the ocean, with the Channel Islands in the distance-the oil tanker lights are just starting to twinkle on the water.
