Thank you to Robby for the NBA basketball tickets! We had a blast! We rooted for the Hawks and they ended up winning 85 to 82 🙂

We ordered the laces and the thin rubber sole material online, traced our feet, cut them out, and attached everything ourselves. An inexpensive and fun twist on the barefoot shoe-completely custom! They are also known as “huaraches.” We are going to continue to run our “couch to 5k” in them.

Of course it always seems as though right when we put the camera away, the most impressive lightning happens 😉

Penny likes watching the carpenter bees in the backyard as she sunbathes

This is my first time working with thick gel medium in a painting. I think it looks super neat!

Poor baby, discharge and swollen lids galore!

Everything went well, she goes back in 2 weeks for a check-up
