Keeping with our tradition, Casey and I wrote down all of our favorite memories from 2014. It was a good year for us with a lot of big changes. Cheers to a fantastic 2015 too!

So, it is widely known that I have the best brother ever. 😉 And this winter break, he drove all the way from CA to visit us in VA!

I walk away from my crafting spot for 2 minutes and come back to THIS! Busted!

My cousin Christina asked me to make artwork for each of her two children’s rooms. 

Kayson has a sports themed room, and this is the sign I made for him.

Kilynn has lots of pastel colors in her room and we chose to incorporate this sweet quote.

Next month I can say, “Next year I turn 30.” WHAT?! When did this happen?!

I did have a great birthday this year. The phone calls, messages, video chats, and surprise deliveries made it very special. Thank you for all the love!

Etsy is keeping me very busy these days. Someone in Canada who ordered a set of my holiday ornaments and loved them, came back and asked me to create a custom piece of art.

 She has a crochet and knit business and asked me to recreate this design of her logo.

Here is the final product! Acrylic paint and string art on bevelled wood.

Penny had a great birthday this year! She got to go on a morning run, go play fetch, take a doggie nap on the couch, and get a special dinner!

This is our first year on the east coast during the holiday season!

We were able to drive down to Georgia to visit with some of Casey’s family for a couple days.

Penny tried to make a new doggie friend and failed. But she was obsessed with the new household kitten and tried to be nice. Our trip was short but sweet!

We found this awesome rest stop on the way home right near a lake 🙂
