For Mother’s Day this year, we decided to take a ride on the LandShark-something none of us had done before. It is a bus that also goes into the water and becomes a boat!
It was a perfect day, not too hot, not too cold. With the beach front bustling with people enjoying the Sunday art walk.
The tour took us by some neat spots around town and the guide told us some history facts. This tree was planted in 1876, is over 80 feet tall, and the widest spread of the branches is 198 feet.

Cruising by the harbor.
So pretty!
Sleepy sea lions
Pinch me, do I really live here?!
We were lucky enough to see a harbor seal out of the water!
The whole gang-what a great day! 🙂
Yay! Happy (belated) Mother’s Day Karen!!
See those tiny little boats in the “Pinch me…” pic? I used to sail with that group when I was younger. Every Sunday!! 🙂 The LandShark is so cool! Great you got to go on such a nice day! Beautiful views… We went closer to evening, and it got a little chilly.
Oh very cool! Sailing looked like a lot of fun!
