We have been to one of our favorite stores, REI, a lot recently in preparation for our first backpacking trip. We got ourselves a camping stove that boils water super quickly. We tried out a freeze dried chicken fettuccini alfredo lunch today and it wasn’t too bad!

Yes it is a jet boil! We love it so far. We will be going backpacking in March possibly to Blue Canyon-not too far away. I will finally be able to use my pack!
