On this cold, rainy day we wanted to check out some local caves only 20 minutes away. The cavern was warmer inside than it was outside so we were happy to venture in.
We were lucky enough to see two bats hibernating. Their population is dwindling due to a deadly fungus. The formations and history were awesome. They have a rock and mineral gift shop as well as an antique shop to browse too. Just beware of the real cats hiding in the rows, they might suddenly move and make you jump 10 feet. 🙂
