Day 6: Lexington, KY to Roanoke, VA
We stopped for some famous chili cheese dogs! Yummy!
And after 6 days of driving, we made it to Roanoke. Thanks Goldie for getting us here safe!
Day 5: Kansas City, KS to Lexington, KY
Missouri looked a lot like Kansas from the freeway, just not as hilly.
We saw an old Stuckey’s sign!We were able to meet up with Casey’s cousin Keenan for lunch on our way through!
We crossed the Mississippi River!
And saw the St. Louis Gateway Arch!
We passed many corn fields… And ended up in Kentucky for the night! One more day of driving until Roanoke!
Day 4: Denver, CO to Kansas City, KS
This day consisted of lots of driving through the rolling green hills, with only a few stops at rest areas. There were many funny billboards to keep us amused: Pet a baby pig! See a 5 legged live cow! See the world’s largest prairie dog and the world’s largest painted egg!
Day 3: Grand Junction, CO to Denver, CO
We visited the Colorado River!There were many river rafters and kayakers going down!
And then we played frolf at the Copper Mountain course-at 10,000 feet!

We were able to retreive an overshot disc! Yay! After more driving, we stopped to see the Colorado Flatirons. There was a storm in the mountains, so we got to listen to thunder during our long hike.
Day 2: Saint George, UT to Grand Junction, CO
We went to Zion National Park and it was beautiful!!
And we also went to Arches National Park and saw many neat rock formations.
At the end of the day we had reached Colorado and thus began our new found love for this state. Stay tuned for our day of adventures in CO!
