Today we hiked on a trail that took us to the Continental Divide! This peak separates the water that flows to the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. When we got to the top, there was a lookout tower that gave us a 4 mile view in all directions. We met fire fighter Brian inside who was keeping watch for fires in the distance. They usually get about 80-100 fires a year, but this year they have only had 29. He used to fight fires in CA for 11 years!<\/p>\n
